"You Won't Believe How Easy It Is To Make Beef Stroganoff As A Stay At Home Parent!"
Beef Stroganoff is one of my favorite recipes and a great way to stay at home with the kids and make a delicious meal. As a stay at home parent, I often find myself wanting to make something that is easy, tasty, and doesn’t require too much effort. Beef Stroganoff is just that – it only takes about 30 minutes to make and comes together with minimal effort. My family loves this dish, so much so that I find myself making it on nearly a weekly basis. It’s a great way to bond with the kids while still getting dinner on the table. Whenever we make this dish, I like to tell them the story of how my great-grandmother used to make this dish for special occasions. It was always a family favorite and something that we all looked forward to eating at her house. The recipe itself is quite simple – all you need are mushrooms, onions, garlic, ground beef, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, sour cream, egg noodles and some spices. First you’ll want to start by browning the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the beef is cooked through, add in the mushrooms and onions and cook until soft. Next add in the garlic and cook for an additional minute before adding in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Let this mixture simmer for about 10 minutes before stirring in the sour cream until combined. Finally add in your egg noodles and season with salt, pepper and any other desired seasonings. Let everything simmer until the noodles are cooked through – about 8 minutes or so. This meal is definitely one that my family looks forward to eating each week! It’s easy to make on a tight budget and takes hardly any time at all – perfect for busy parents who want a delicious meal without having to spend too much time prepping or cooking! Ingredients: -1 lb ground beef -1 onion (diced) -2 cloves garlic (minced) -8 ounces mushrooms (sliced) -1 cup beef broth -1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce -1/3 cup sour cream -8 ounces egg noodles -Salt & Pepper (to taste) -Optional Seasonings (to taste) Directions: 1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. 2. Add in the onions and mushrooms and cook until soft. 3. Add in garlic and cook for an additional minute before adding in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally before stirring in sour cream until combined. 4. Add egg noodles and season with salt & pepper (and any other desired seasonings). Simmer until noodles are cooked through – about 8 minutes or so. Serve warm & enjoy!
