    • 4 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
    • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef cubes and cook until browned on all sides. Transfer the beef cubes to a slow cooker.

In a small bowl whisk together flour with 1/2 cup cold water until smooth then stir into slow cooker mixture until thickened. Season with salt and pepper as desired before serving warm over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
