Fried Chicken Wings with Hot Sauce: A Stay-at-Home Parent’s Blog

As a stay-at-home parent, it is important to make sure that the family is well fed with nutritious and delicious meals. One of my favorite dishes to make is Fried Chicken Wings with Hot Sauce. This dish has become a regular in our family meal rotation as it is both easy to make and incredibly flavorful. The combination of the crispy fried chicken wings and spicy hot sauce provides a unique and delicious taste that everyone loves. Plus, it’s a great way to use up any leftover chicken wings that you may have!

    Ingredients:

    • 2 pounds of chicken wings (drumettes and wingettes)
    2 cups of buttermilk
    • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
    • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
    • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon of paprika
    • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Vegetable oil for frying
    • Hot sauce for serving (I like Frank’s RedHot)
    Instructions:

    1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, buttermilk, and hot sauce. Mix everything together until the wings are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight.
    2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
    3. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour before placing on a plate.
    4. Heat about two inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit on a deep-frying thermometer. Working in batches, carefully add the chicken wings to the oil and fry for about 8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Use tongs or a slotted spoon to turn them over halfway through cooking.
    5. Place the cooked chicken on a paper towel-lined plate or baking sheet to absorb any excess oil. Serve immediately with hot sauce on the side for dipping!

My family loves this recipe as it is easy to make and incredibly flavorful! A few years ago I had some friends over for dinner who had never tried fried chicken wings before – they were blown away by how delicious they were! The great thing about grilling is that it doesn’t require much effort or time, so I can prepare the meal while still spending quality time with my kids. Plus, it’s a delicious recipe that everyone in the family can enjoy.

I first heard about this recipe from my mother-in-law. She was visiting us for the week and wanted to make something special for dinner one night. She suggested this Grilled Chicken with Chili and Lime and told us the story of how she discovered it.

A few years ago, she was on vacation in Mexico with my father-in-law. On their last night there, they decided to eat at a local restaurant by the beach. They ordered the Grilled Chicken with Chili and Lime and were amazed at how delicious it was! They asked the chef for the recipe, but he refused to give it to them.

So, my mother-in-law did some research and experimented until she finally came up with her own version of the recipe. She was kind enough to share it with us, so I decided to give it try this week.

    Ingredients:
    • 4 boneless chicken breasts
    • 2 limes
    • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
    • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    3. Rub the chicken breasts with the olive oil and then coat them in the chili powder mixture.
    4. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill and cook for about 8 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F).
    5. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the cooked chicken breasts before serving. Enjoy!

Preparing dinner for my family using this Grilled Chicken with Chili and Lime recipe was an incredibly rewarding experience for me as a stay-at-home parent. Beef and Bean Soup: A Hearty and Comforting Meal for Stay at Home Parents

As a stay at home parent, finding time to make homemade meals can often seem impossible. But with a little bit of organization and the right recipe, you can make a delicious, nutritious meal in no time. Today I want to share one of my favorite recipes for beef and bean soup – it’s hearty, filling, and makes enough for the whole family.

This soup combines savory ground beef with black beans and vegetables for a satisfying combination of flavors. The broth is made from beef stock, tomatoes, onions, garlic, and a variety of spices like cumin and oregano. This flavorful base is perfect for adding in your favorite veggies like carrots, celery, and potatoes. The combination of ingredients creates a hearty soup that will leave your family feeling full and content.

I love this recipe because it’s easy to make ahead of time, so you can have dinner ready before your family even knows it’s on the table. I usually start by browning the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Once the beef is cooked through, I add in the chopped vegetables and let them cook until they are softened. Then I add the beans, beef stock, tomatoes, onions, garlic, and spices. I let the soup simmer for about an hour so all the flavors meld together.

When it comes to serving this soup I like to top it off with sliced avocado or cilantro as a garnish. My kids love it so much that they often ask for seconds! This recipe has become a staple in our house – it’s comforting on cold days and easy to prepare when we don’t have a lot of time to spare.

For me this recipe is more than just an easy meal – it’s also a reminder of how far I’ve come as a stay at home parent. When my husband first started working from home, I was overwhelmed by all the responsibilities that came with taking care of our two kids during the day. But with practice and patience (and lots of help from my family!), I’ve been able to create simple meals like this one that make everyone happy. Being able to provide these kinds of meals for my kids has been incredibly fulfilling as a mom – it’s just another way that I get to show them how much I love them each day.

    -1 can of refried beans
    -1 cup of salsa
-2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese
    -1 package of 12 burrito-size flour tortillas
    -1 teaspoon of chili powder
    -1 teaspoon of cumin
    -1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
    -Salt and pepper to taste

This beef burrito recipe brings warm memories to our family. Every time we make it, we remember when my husband and I would make them together when our children were little. We would let them choose their toppings and let them help us assemble the burritos. It was a great way to spend quality time with our kids while also making an easy and delicious meal.

To begin making the beef burritos, start by browning the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s cooked through. Once the beef has cooked, add in the refried beans, salsa, chili powder, cumin and garlic powder. Stir everything together until it’s well combined and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, or until heated through. Then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Next, grab your package of tortillas and fill each one with about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture and top with some shredded cheese. Roll up each burrito tightly, tucking in the ends as you go so none of the filling falls out during baking. Place each burrito seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
