“Discover a Delicious Beef Lasagna Recipe and Keep Your Family Entertained While Social Distancing!”
Beef Lasagna: A Story of Comfort and Love
For me, nothing says comfort like a delicious lasagna. It brings back memories of my grandmother’s Sunday dinners and of the warmth I felt when eating her homemade lasagna. Now, as a stay-at-home parent, I have the opportunity to recreate that feeling for my family by making my own beef lasagna. This is not just a meal—it is an experience, one that envelops us in the warmth of home and brings us together as a family.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3 cups ricotta cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 lasagna noodles
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheeseDirections:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain fat. Stir in marinara sauce and tomato sauce; season with Italian seasoning. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl combine ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, black pepper and salt; mix well.
Spread 1 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange 4 uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread 1/2 of ricotta cheese mixture over noodles; top with 1 cup meat sauce and 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers twice more. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until top is lightly browned and bubbly around edges. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
As I watch my family devour this delicious beef lasagna, I am filled with joy to see them so happy—and to know that I was able to bring them such comfort with something as simple as a meal I cooked from scratch. The experience reminds me of my childhood days spent eating my grandmother’s lasagna—and it reminds me how much cooking can be an act of love too. That is what makes this Lasagna so special—it’s more than just a dish; it’s a story of love and comfort that can be shared each time we make it together as a family.
“Become a Master at Beef Wellington: The Perfect Stay-at-Home Parent Recipe!”
Beef Wellington: A Delicious and Succulent Meal
As a stay-at-home parent, I am always looking for new and delicious meals that can be prepared in a short amount of time. One of my favorites is Beef Wellington, a classic dish that is both succulent and flavorful. The dish is simple to make and requires a few basic ingredients that can be found in almost any pantry.
To make this delectable meal at home, you will need the following ingredients: two pounds of beef tenderloin, two tablespoons of butter, one sheet of frozen puff pastry, two tablespoons of Dijon mustard, one egg (beaten), one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, one clove of garlic (minced), one teaspoon of olive oil, two tablespoons of shallots (chopped), one teaspoon of fresh thyme (chopped), four ounces of mushrooms (chopped), and one tablespoon of fresh parsley (chopped).
The first step in preparing this meal is to preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, place the beef tenderloin in a roasting pan and rub it with the butter. Once the butter has been spread evenly across the meat, bake it in your preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until it is cooked through.
While your beef is cooking, prepare your pastry by layering the pastry on a lightly floured surface. Then spread the Dijon mustard on top of the pastry and add the beaten egg over it to help bind the ingredients together. Next, spoon the Worcestershire sauce over the egg layer and then sprinkle your minced garlic on top.
Now take your cooked beef tenderloin out of the oven and place it on top of the pastry mixture. Heat up your olive oil in a skillet on medium heat and add in the chopped shallots until they become lightly browned. Add your mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes or until they become tender.
Finally, mix in your chopped parsley and thyme into your skillet and spoon this mixture over your beef tenderloin before folding up the sides of your puff pastry to form a seal around it. Bake this masterpiece in your preheated oven for an additional 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve this delicious meal and have a wonderful time with family!
My family absolutely loves this meal and I cannot get enough! It’s always a pleasure preparing Beef Wellington because not only is it easy to make but also super delicious. The combination between the succulent beef tenderloin coated with Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce encased inside a pastry shell is just too irresistible not to enjoy! So if you’re looking for something special for dinner tonight, why not give Beef Wellington a try? You won’t be disappointed!
