“You Won’t Believe How Easy It Is To Make Beef Stroganoff As A Stay At Home Parent!”
Beef Stroganoff is one of my favorite recipes and a great way to stay at home with the kids and make a delicious meal. As a stay at home parent, I often find myself wanting to make something that is easy, tasty, and doesn’t require too much effort. Beef Stroganoff is just that – it only takes about 30 minutes to make and comes together with minimal effort.
My family loves this dish, so much so that I find myself making it on nearly a weekly basis. It’s a great way to bond with the kids while still getting dinner on the table. Whenever we make this dish, I like to tell them the story of how my great-grandmother used to make this dish for special occasions. It was always a family favorite and something that we all looked forward to eating at her house.
The recipe itself is quite simple – all you need are mushrooms, onions, garlic, ground beef, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, sour cream, egg noodles and some spices. First you’ll want to start by browning the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the beef is cooked through, add in the mushrooms and onions and cook until soft. Next add in the garlic and cook for an additional minute before adding in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Let this mixture simmer for about 10 minutes before stirring in the sour cream until combined. Finally add in your egg noodles and season with salt, pepper and any other desired seasonings. Let everything simmer until the noodles are cooked through – about 8 minutes or so.
