Tandoori Chicken Recipe – A Healthy and Flavorful Dish for the Whole Family

As the stay-at-home parent of two young children, I’m always looking for new and interesting recipes to keep me and my family interested in mealtime. One of our favorites is tandoori chicken. It’s a healthy dish that’s packed full of flavor, and it’s relatively easy to make.

Tandoori chicken is a traditional Indian dish that’s cooked in a tandoori oven, which is a type of cylindrical clay oven. The chicken is marinated in a mixture of yogurt, spices, and herbs before it’s cooked in the oven. The result is juicy, flavorful chicken that’s just bursting with flavor.

I love this recipe because it’s a great way to get all of the whole family involved in mealtime. My kids love helping me mix up the marinade and they always get excited when they see the tandoori chicken cooking in the oven. Plus, since it’s so easy to make, I can have dinner on the table in no time – which means more quality time with my family!

    Ingredients:
    – 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    – 1 cup plain yogurt
    – 2 tablespoons garlic paste
    – 2 tablespoons ginger paste
    – 1 tablespoon garam masala
    – 2 teaspoons ground coriander
    – 1 teaspoon chili powder
    – 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    – Juice of 1 lemon
    – 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

    Instructions:
    1. In a medium bowl, combine the yogurt, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, coriander, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper and oil. Mix until everything is combined. Add the lemon juice and stir.
    2. Place the chicken breasts in a large plastic bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Make sure all sides are evenly coated in marinade. Let sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 8 hours).
    3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the chicken breasts on a lightly greased baking sheet or roasting pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
    4. Once done cooking, let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro if desired. Enjoy!

This delicious recipe has become an instant favorite with my family – even my picky eaters! I love that not only is it flavorful and healthy but it also allows us to have quality family time together while preparing dinner. It’s an easy way to make sure we all get some quality time together during this stay at home period as well as some great nutrition!

As a stay at home parent, I know how important it is to have easy and delicious recipes in my repertoire. Grilled pork chops with rosemary and garlic is one of my favorite recipes to whip up for the family. Not only is it incredibly easy to make, but the flavor combination of rosemary, garlic, and pork chops make for an unforgettable meal!

To prepare this dish, you will need:

    – 2 tablespoons olive oil
    – 1 teaspoon salt
    – 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    – 1 lemon, cut into wedges (optional)

Begin by preheating your grill to medium high heat. Take the pork chops and season them with salt and pepper on both sides. In a small bowl, combine the garlic and rosemary leaves together. Drizzle the pork chops with the olive oil and then rub the rosemary and garlic mixture onto both sides of each chop.

This dish is simple to make and only requires a few ingredients. It’s also packed with flavor and is sure to please everyone at the dinner table.

I first discovered this recipe when I was living in China. I was visiting a local market one day, and the smell of freshly cooked shrimp and mushrooms grabbed my attention. I knew right away that I had to try it, so I purchased a plate of the stir-fry and immediately fell in love with it. Ever since then, I’ve been making this dish for my family whenever I get the chance.

This recipe is incredibly versatile as well. You can use whatever vegetables you have on hand or swap out the shrimp for chicken or beef if you prefer. You can even make it vegan by omitting the meat altogether. The possibilities are endless!

Now let’s get down to business and talk about how to make this tasty dish. To start, gather your ingredients: 1 pound of shrimp (peeled and deveined), 1 cup of sliced mushrooms, 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and salt and pepper to taste.

Once you have all your ingredients together, heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Then add the mushrooms and cook until they start to soften (about 2 minutes). Next add the shrimp and cook until they are just cooked through (about 3 minutes).

Add in the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until combined. Cook for another minute or two until everything is heated through. Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles if desired.
