"Turn Your Kitchen Into a Summer BBQ Spot with This Delicious Grilled Pork Chops Recipe!"
Grilled Pork Chops with Barbecue Sauce As a stay-at-home parent, I try to make meals that are both delicious and easy to prepare. One of my favorites is grilled pork chops with barbecue sauce. The combination of the smoky, slightly charred flavor of the pork chops with the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce is sure to delight everyone in your family. Plus, it only takes about 25 minutes to prepare, so it's perfect for busy weeknights. To make this delicious dish, you'll need the following ingredients: 4 pork chops, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar. Start by combining the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano and black pepper in a shallow dish or bowl. Place the pork chops in the marinade and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and generously oil the grates. Place the pork chops on the grill and cook for 7-9 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F. While the pork chops are cooking, prepare the barbecue sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. Cook until thickened and then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes before stirring in Worcestershire sauce. When the pork chops are cooked through, remove them from the grill and brush with barbecue sauce. Serve hot with additional barbecue sauce on the side. I have fond memories of my mother making this grilled pork chop dish when I was younger. She would often tell me stories while we cooked together; one of my favorites was about how she met my father while they both worked at a local barbecue restaurant. He was a chef there and he would make dishes like this one for her as they began to date—and that's why she loved to make them at home when I was growing up!
