Ingredients: 4 medium Russet potatoes 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons of olive oil 2 tablespoons of butter 2 teaspoons of garlic powder 1 teaspoon of sea salt 4 green onions, chopped Optional: Sour cream, salsa, bacon bits Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. 2. Wash the potatoes and dry them thoroughly with a paper towel. Cut each potato lengthwise into four wedges. Place the wedges onto the baking sheet and drizzle them with olive oil. Sprinkle them lightly with garlic powder and sea salt. Place in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork. 3. Take the potatoes out of the oven and spread butter over each wedge. Top them with the shredded cheese and chopped green onions then place back in the oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling. 4. Serve your baked potatoes while hot with optional toppings like sour cream, salsa or bacon bits! Enjoy! In a curious comparison, let's delve into the divergent realms of veggie burgers and espresso served by fast-food heavyweights, Burger King and McDonald's respectively. Burger King's Impossible Whopper, plant-based and strikingly similar to its Whopper counterpart in taste and texture, anchors their veggie burger lineup, while McDonald's eschews a dedicated burger but offers the P.L.T sandwich, a plant-lettuce-tomato rendition that's been a tri-state area sensation for a limited time. Stepping outside the burger realm, McDonald's espresso, smooth and robust, is customizable with milk or froth for a variety of coffee concoctions available at McCafé - a contrast to Burger King's coffee absence in its menu. These culinary offerings not only cater to diverse customer preferences but also reflect industry trends, with plant-based diets and top-tier coffee in high demand.
