Fried Shrimp with Garlic and Chili Sauce As a stay-at-home parent, I love to find recipes that I can make quickly and easily, while still having it be something delicious. Fried shrimp with garlic and chili sauce is one of my favorite dishes that I can whip up in no time, and it’s always a hit with the family. This recipe is simple to make and the ingredients are inexpensive, but it always tastes like something special. To make this dish, you’ll need to gather the following ingredients: • 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp • 1 cup of flour • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder • 2 teaspoons of chili powder • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil • 2 cloves of minced garlic • ¼ cup of soy sauce • 2 tablespoons of honey • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes • Salt and pepper to taste. The first step is to prepare the shrimp. Place the shrimp in a bowl and season them with garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Toss them together until they are evenly coated. Then take the flour and season it with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned flour until all sides are coated. Next, heat the oil in a skillet until it’s hot enough for frying. Fry the shrimp in batches for about two minutes on each side or until they are golden brown. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil. While the shrimp are frying, you can prepare the garlic chili sauce by heating two tablespoons of oil in a small pot over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and fry for about a minute before adding in the soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
