That’s why this Beef and Snow Pea Stir-Fry is such a great recipe to have in your back pocket. This dish comes together quickly, is packed with protein, vegetables, and flavor, and is sure to be a hit with the whole family. Let’s start by gathering the ingredients we’ll need for this recipe. You’ll need 1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into thin strips; 1 medium onion, diced; 3 cloves of garlic, minced; 2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, grated; 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips; 2 cups of snow peas; 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil; 2 tablespoons of soy sauce; 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar; 1 teaspoon of sesame oil; 2 tablespoons of honey; and salt and pepper to taste. Now let’s get started on the stir-fry. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and swirl it around to coat the bottom of the pan. Once the oil is hot, add in the beef strips. Cook the beef for about 4 minutes until it is lightly browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. Next add in the onion, garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and snow peas. Stir-fry these ingredients together for about 5 minutes until they are lightly browned and tender. Return the beef to the pan along with any juices that have accumulated on the plate. Add in the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, honey, salt and pepper to taste. Give everything a good stir then reduce heat to low. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until everything is heated through and cooked through. Now you’re ready to serve up your Beef and Snow Pea Stir-Fry! Serve over cooked white or brown rice for a complete meal that will satisfy even your pickiest eaters. When my parents first made this dish for me as a child I was skeptical about eating it at first. That all changed when I took my first bite! The combination of flavors was so delicious that I kept coming back for more! From then on I knew that this Beef and Snow Pea Stir-Fry was going to be one of my favorite dishes ever.
