"Grill Up Deliciousness: Easy Shrimp With Garlic and Olive Oil - Perfect for Busy Parents!"
Grilled Shrimp with Garlic and Olive Oil Staying at home with your kids everyday can be a challenge, but it's also a great opportunity to spend quality time with them. One of my favorite ways to do this is to get the kids involved in preparing meals. Grilled shrimp with garlic and olive oil is one of our family’s go-to recipes. Not only is it incredibly easy to make, but it’s also incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor! Every time we make this dish, I can’t help but think back to when I was a kid and my mom would make this for us. She’d take us out on the back porch, fire up the grill, and get to work. I remember the smell of the garlic mingling with the olive oil and how it would make my mouth water in anticipation. This recipe is not only tasty, but an important part of our family history and I'm so glad that we can continue to share it together. The ingredients are simple and include: -1 pound of large shrimp -2 cloves of garlic, minced -2 tablespoons of olive oil -1 teaspoon of lemon juice -Salt and pepper to taste To get started, you’ll want to rinse the shrimp off and pat them dry. Place them in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil. Make sure everything is evenly distributed so that each piece gets coated in all the flavors. Once you have everything prepped, fire up the grill and let it heat up for about 10 minutes. You’ll want the grill to be hot enough so that when you place the shrimp on it, they will cook quickly without burning or sticking. Place all the shrimp onto the grill and let cook for about 3 minutes before flipping them over. Once both sides are cooked through (about 6 minutes total), remove from heat and serve immediately. This simple dish is perfect for those days when you just don't feel like cooking or don't have much time to do it in. Not only does it take less than 10 minutes from start to finish, but it's also packed full of flavor! It's sure to become a favorite in your home just like it is in ours!
