"Treat Yourself and Your Family: Delicious Waffle Recipes with Syrup and Toppings Perfect for Stay-at-Home Parents!"
Waffles with Syrup and Toppings – A Sweet and Delicious Recipe to Enjoy as a Stay-at-Home Parent As a stay-at-home parent, it’s important to find delicious recipes that are easy to make and enjoyable for the whole family. Waffles with syrup and toppings is one of those classic recipes that is sure to please everyone. Not only are waffles simple to make, but they also allow for so much customization with different syrups and toppings that each person can create their own unique version. Plus, waffles are a great way to start the day off right, or for an afternoon snack. This recipe works great for a big family breakfast or brunch as it is easy to double or triple the ingredients depending on how many people you are serving. It also won’t break the bank as all of the ingredients are affordable and easy to find in most grocery stores. Here is what you will need: Ingredients: • 2 cups all-purpose flour • 1 tablespoon baking powder • ¼ teaspoon salt • 2 tablespoons sugar • 2 eggs • 2 cups of milk • ¼ cup melted butter • Assorted syrups and toppings (optional) Instructions: 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. 2. In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until combined. 3. Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not over mix! 4. Heat a waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions and spray with cooking spray. 5. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the hot waffle iron and close lid. Cook until golden brown (about 4 minutes). 6. Repeat with remaining batter until all waffles are done cooking. Serve waffles hot with desired syrups and toppings such as maple syrup, honey, chocolate sauce, fresh fruit or whipped cream! As a stay-at-home parent of three young children, I love making waffles on Sunday mornings because it’s something we all look forward to eating while we’re spending time together as a family. My kids love helping out in the kitchen by pouring in the ingredients and taking turns at flipping the waffles while they cook! And when it comes time to add on toppings my kids get creative - sometimes they like to mix different syrups together or add sprinkles on top of their waffles! It’s always fun watching them enjoy their creations (and we get our breakfast too!). Waffles with syrup and toppings bring us all together for quality family time that I cherish as a stay-at-home parent!
