Fried Chicken Wings with Hot Sauce: A Stay-at-Home Parent’s Blog
As a stay-at-home parent, it is important to make sure that the family is well fed with nutritious and delicious meals. One of my favorite dishes to make is Fried Chicken Wings with Hot Sauce. This dish has become a regular in our family meal rotation as it is both easy to make and incredibly flavorful. The combination of the crispy fried chicken wings and spicy hot sauce provides a unique and delicious taste that everyone loves. Plus, it’s a great way to use up any leftover chicken wings that you may have!
Ingredients:
• 2 pounds of chicken wings (drumettes and wingettes)
2 cups of buttermilk
• 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
• 2 cups of all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon of paprika
• 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Vegetable oil for frying
• Hot sauce for serving (I like Frank’s RedHot)
Instructions:1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, buttermilk, and hot sauce. Mix everything together until the wings are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight.
2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
3. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour before placing on a plate.
4. Heat about two inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit on a deep-frying thermometer. Working in batches, carefully add the chicken wings to the oil and fry for about 8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Use tongs or a slotted spoon to turn them over halfway through cooking.
5. Place the cooked chicken on a paper towel-lined plate or baking sheet to absorb any excess oil. Serve immediately with hot sauce on the side for dipping! My family loves this recipe as it is easy to make and incredibly flavorful! A few years ago I had some friends over for dinner who had never tried fried chicken wings before – they were blown away by how delicious they were! We spent hours talking, laughing, and eating this delicious dish with hot sauce on the side for dipping – it was one of those evenings that you just can’t forget! I love making this dish as it always takes me back to that wonderful night spent with my friends, while providing my family with an amazing meal!
“Parenting Hack: Delicious Beef Stir-Fry with Red Curry Sauce You Can Make at Home!”
Beef Stir-fry with Red Curry Sauce: A Recipe to Try at Home
As a busy stay-at-home parent, I have to find creative ways to whip up delicious meals that my family will love, while still fitting it into our tight budget. One of my go-to recipes is beef stir-fry with red curry sauce. It’s easy to make and requires only a few ingredients, so it’s a great choice for busy parents like me. Plus, my family loves it!
To make this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients: one pound of sirloin steak, one tablespoon of olive oil, two tablespoons of red curry paste, one teaspoon of garlic powder, one teaspoon of ground ginger, and one cup of coconut milk. You’ll also need vegetables of your choice. For this particular stir-fry, I used broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers.
Before you start cooking, make sure to cut the steak into thin strips and set aside. Then heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the steak strips and cook until lightly browned. Sprinkle the garlic powder and ground ginger over the steak while it’s cooking.
Next, add the vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry them until they are lightly cooked but still crisp. Once they are cooked to your liking, reduce the heat to low and add in the red curry paste and coconut milk. Stir everything together until all of the ingredients are evenly coated in sauce. Serve with steamed rice or noodles for an extra flavorful meal!
I love making this beef stir-fry with red curry sauce for my family because it’s easy to make and super tasty. Plus, I can get it on the table within 30 minutes or less – perfect for busy parents! I also love how versatile this recipe is – you can easily switch out the vegetables according to what’s in season or just whatever you happen to have available in your pantry.
This dish also has a special story behind it – when I was younger, my mother would always make this stir-fry for us on special occasions as a way to celebrate our family time together. Every time I make this dish now I think back fondly on those special moments with my family and appreciate how much they still mean to me even though we’re older now.
So if you’re looking for an easy yet flavorful meal that requires minimal ingredients and is perfect for busy parents (like me!), then give beef stir-fry with red curry sauce a try! You won’t be disappointed!

“Grilled Shrimp with Lemon Herb Sauce: A Delicious Recipe to Keep You Entertained as a Stay-at-Home Parent!”
Grilled Shrimp with Lemon Herb Sauce
As a stay-at-home parent, coming up with new recipes to cook for my family can be a challenge. I’m constantly trying to think outside the box and come up with something that everyone will enjoy. Recently, I decided to try out a new recipe for grilled shrimp with lemon herb sauce. This dish was delicious and a huge hit in my family, plus it was really easy to make.
The ingredients for the grilled shrimp with lemon herb sauce include: one pound of large shrimp, one tablespoon of olive oil, one tablespoon of minced garlic, one teaspoon of dill weed, one teaspoon of oregano, half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of pepper, two tablespoons of butter, two tablespoons of lemon juice, and two tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.
I started this recipe by preheating my oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and preparing an ovenproof baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Then I placed the shrimp in the dish and drizzled them with the olive oil. Next I sprinkled the minced garlic, dill weed, oregano, salt and pepper over the shrimp. I then melted the butter in a skillet over medium heat before adding in the lemon juice and parsley. I stirred this mixture until it was combined well before pouring it over the shrimp in the baking dish.
I then put the baking dish in the oven for about 15 minutes until the shrimp were cooked through and lightly browned. After taking it out from the oven I served it up warm with some fresh parsley sprinkled on top for garnish.
This grilled shrimp with lemon herb sauce was a delicious dish that my family enjoyed immensely. The flavors were bold and flavorful without being overpowering and everyone had seconds! Plus it was relatively easy to make so I could easily add this to my list of go-to recipes that I can whip up in no time!
My favorite part about this recipe is that it reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking. Growing up she would make dishes like this on special occasions or when we had guests over. She always made sure to add her own spin on it so that every time we ate it felt like a special treat. It’s nice to be able to recreate some of her recipes at home so that my family can share in her memory at mealtime!
